The sound of 2013 didn’t sit well with me. I guess the slightly superstitious part of me felt that 13 sounded unlucky. This past year has been filled to the brim with stress and milestones. But, overall, I think it’s safe to say it has been rather successful.
Some of my personal highlights include:
– I completed my A Levels and got into my first choice university (Sussex)
– I received my driving license
– I turned 18
– Moved into the most beautiful house!
I’m hoping the next year will also be full of opportunity. I’ve got a few classic resolutions lined up and am actually looking forward to the potential 2014 has for me. I’m pleased to say that my family and loved ones are all happy and healthy, despite the difficult year, that is now thankfully behind us!
I think that you can make your own fresh start any day of the week. There is always tomorrow to make those changes you wish to see in your life. But there is something more satisfying about the new year, like the first page of a new notebook.
Happy New Year- I hope it’s full of happiness and success.
